Topic: Season of Comfort and Testimonies
Author: Dr Joshua Obasa
Isaiah 49:13 KJV
“Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.”
Reflections - It is always exciting to know God’s design and purpose for each season. Now, get to know this - affliction actually is not the end of the story! God is poised to cushion the effects of whatever hard times we have had to grapple with. When God rises to show mercy, comfort replaces hardship.
There is a shift in the heavenly in our favour. When the heavens smile on us, we enter into a season of testimonies. The mountains will break forth into singing, meaning that tests will become testimonies and trials turn to triumphs. Whatever has robbed you of a new song will have to give way very soon. Your season of comfort is now when you will be refreshed and be better positioned for great exploits. I am so excited that God is moving me from sighs of discomfort into a time of extraordinary thanksgiving. Get set for the miraculous!
1. Lord, let the heavens speak in my favour and let me experience a divine turn around.
2. Lord, turn my shame to fame and my trials to triumphs by your acts of mercies.
3. Lord, replace every hardship with comfort and give me unique testimonies.
