John 16:32 KJV
“Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.”
Reflections - We need to learn some lessons from the scripture in reference. First lesson is that life is not always smooth, so prepare. Second lesson is that the worst disappointment comes from those you trust so much. Do not expect much from any mortal. The third lesson is that only God can help a man without fail.
We need to rise on the wings of faith and trust God for the best. We need to seek God early. If we do not know Him in our perceived time of ease, He may not answer for us in the time of troubles. We must draw near to God through meditation in His word, worship and service to His Kingdom. When we enjoy the presence of God we have His peace, His glory and His grace.
1. Lord, draw me closer to you and shield me from every tide of evil.
2. Lord, let me enjoy the blessings of your presence and move me forward in life.
3. Lord, grant me encouragement in all spheres and do not let me be stranded in life.
