EARLY THIS MORNING AS I AWAKE -I HEARD THE LORD SAY TO ME-"DISCERN THE LORD'S BODY
1 Corinthians 11:29-30
29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
When Paul commanded no one to take the Lord's Supper in an unworthy manner he was speaking to the CHURCH who were rushing into it without understanding of its meaning, and not showing respect, honor, and fear of the Lord.
So then this supper represents the partaking and embracing of the "new life" in Christ.
So we discern the Lord's body by understanding and declaring that His body was broken at the cross so that our bodies can be healed and made whole.
When we walk in this manner, we become Strong in the Lord and the Power of His Might not strong in the flesh and the power of our pride-
Saints even Leaders living lives that demonstrate "good is evil and evil is good"
Too many saints rushing off into fellowship with God with "itching ears" having no respect for the sacrifices of Jesus Christ;
not having an understanding of love, forgiveness, mercy, compassion, authority, and power- not even demonstrating an ounce of what it means to repent-coming to the throne room of His Grace with hearts of unforgiveness, bitterness, selfishness, lust, envy, quarreling, and strife looking for a handout instead of handing over their hearts to me- Living lives filled with covetousness and greed like Baalam manipulating my Glory for a gift-
Not demonstrating "My Heart of Reconciliation" for believers as well as unbelievers
So they partake of this cup of "new life" with a carnal attitude instead of the fruit of the Spirit and they break the "bread of His Body"with anger, pride, and unforgiveness to those I have called them to-not demonstrating as examples but as lord's of My Church and that example has always been on the
LOVE FOR I AM LOVE
GET BACK TO YOUR FIRST LOVE
(1 PETER 5:3)
-Not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
